Just wanted to share a fun family event we do every year in January. We have a Snowman Contest where families make a snowman creation at home and bring it to school. At the end, we have a potluck with families and we pass out an award for each snowman relating to their creation (for example: "Best Story" for the snowman that went to Hawaii and melted, or "Most Intergalactic" for the alien snowmen on the moon)! It is always super fun and families get so creative. Happy to share more information if you're interesting in trying it one year! ⛄️ *This idea started at my mother's childcare program back in the 90s and we have taken it on at my program since opening 7 years ago!
